Gift Box #2

This bigger box was made with the Sizzix Eclips cartridge Albums, Bags and Boxes 2. It is Box with Lid on page 48-49. It is cut at 11.69 inches and can hold A2 size cards (you will probably need to trim a little bit of the card's bottom to fit). Embellishments used are as follows: American Crafts ribbon, DCWV cardstock (Tradewinds Paper Stack), Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot, Black cardstock (Reflections brand from Michael's), Stampin' Up butterfly 3D punch, Stickles in Gold. I just loved how vintage this box came out and what a great way to give a gift to someone. The beauty of making boxes with this machine (or any other electronic cutter) vs. die cutting templates is that you can re-size your project depending on your needs. You are not stuck with only one size. There are also individual embellishments you can cut out for the sides. The square embellishment on top of the box is one of these. I hope you enjoy these projects as much as I enjoyed making them. This will be a short week for me on my blog, so I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Come Black Friday I will be at my favorite shop Scrapbooking Made Simple...can't wait to buy more of what I already have!
