Happy National Scrapbook Month!

I know I haven't posted in forever, but I've had a few family issues I've had to take care of. It's very hard to let go of your parents when they can no longer live in your home. That's what I've had to do since the beginning of the year, along with taking care of myself and my ankle surgery. Not an easy journey for an only child. Trust me, it has been an eye-opener.

Now that some things are somewhat winding down (not for me...I need another surgery in August), I have a little more time to scrap and make cards. After much anticipation, my son Steven was able to move my scrapbook room I had downstairs in the dining room to its permanent location upstairs. I now have a dedicated scrapbook room and I cannot wait to show you! I can't believe it finally happened! I can now design, scrap and do whatever I want in the comfort of my beautiful new craftroom! Pictures to follow very soon!

Today, I filled out my application to Copic to take their beginner Certification Course this June in Los Angeles. I hope I get picked because I really enjoy working with Copics. I am hoping this is the turn for the better that I've been looking for. Since I own over 200 markers (and growing!) I thought it best to take the course and become more familiar with "Copicography." I'll let you all know what Copic decides. I will post some of my Copic class cards, hopefully, between today and tomorrow. I have learned so much from my Copic Classes with Jenny Black (http://jenniebstampin.blogspot.com/) ...she has been a true inspiration. Thank you Jennie!
Until We Meet Again,

  1. Your room is wonderful, Marie. I'm jealous. I'm sure Copic will accept you. I agree that Jennie is a great teacher and you will be too. Your teaching skills are amazing. I can attest to that.

  2. You are very kind....and Copic accepted my application! Certification class, here I come!
